As highlighted in Vogue, this album is an “expansive tribute to the archiving and safeguarding of cultures that has been—and continues to be—done not just in Puerto Rico, but in all corners of the planet.” Its title, "Debí Tirar Mas Fotos", translates to "I Should Have Taken More Photos", encapsulating the album’s nostalgic and reflective core.

Whether or not you speak the language in which this body of work was written, the emotional power behind "DEBi TiRAR MaS FOTOS" is an undeniable force that transcends language. This album is a vibrant and deeply personal project that pays homage to Bad Bunny’s Puerto Rican roots. More than just an album, it’s a patriotic love letter—one that defies genre to deliver a body of work filled with heart, soul, and lived experience. Through poignant storytelling, he reflects on his life as a Puerto Rican man, honors those who came before him, and comments on the sociopolitical landscape of his homeland. In his own way, he preserves a piece of Puerto Rico, mourning the parts lost to gentrification and change.

The masterful layering of instruments, evocative lyricism, and carefully chosen features elevate this project into something truly special. It is one of the most beautifully crafted, emotionally resonant albums I have ever experienced.

I cannot wait for the content and coverage that DTMf will continue to bless my screen with this summer, especially during Benito’s highly anticipated two-month performance schedule in San Juan.
